'Berko' Colour light Signals are fitted with LED and should not be confused with filament lamps. Although LED's are extreemly long lasting, they must be instaled with care. MAXIMUM voltage to the LED is 2V. The correct resistor has been fitted to the Cathode (Negative) white lead and this should be connected to the negative terminal of a 12V DC power supply. The other coloured leads should be connected to the positive terminal via a suitable switch. Do Not connect to the 16V AC outlet of your controller.
To power these signals you will require a 12V DC supply. We recommend ether the Gaugemaster open TD1 DC transformer or cased M1 Transformer. To control one of the signals with just a Red/Green changeover we would recommend an Eckon EE2 'Lectralok' 2-way Centre Off Lever Switch.
