Description
Model Features:
Specially designed fully-powered truck system allows a fully detailed interior without any intruding wires or mechanical components.
These articulated Light Rail Vehicles can operate on extremely tight radii, such as those used with the Kato
UNITRAM system
or
Compact Unitrack tracks
.
Both Portram and Centram Light Rail vehicles feature directional lighting and signboards with alternate light patterns for both the front and rear of the car.
Interior lighting is built-in to the light rail cars to illuminate the interior of both cabins.
Articulated pantographs can be positioned at variable heights.
All Toyama light rail vehicles can be operated on both UNITRAM street track as well as basic Kato Unitrack and operated off of a basic Kato power pack, and do not require special track or equipment.*
*Due to space constraints restricting DCC board installation and the low voltage motors built into the trucks, these Light Rail Vehicles are not recommended for use with DCC systems
