Only 10 Damo 'B's were built in 1925/26, ( the later Asmo design was considered to be more useful in traffic), to carry motor vehicles mostly from Morris Motors at Cowley and Austin at Longbridge. Running numbers were 42221-30
These were inside braced, vertically planked vans at 20' built on a 12' wheelbase with end loading doors and a drop down flap at each end to bridge the buffers. Loads up to 10Tons could be carried and at least one, probably more, lasted into BR ownership. 42223 is preserved on the South Devon Railway
Exclusive to Osborns Models Ltd the kit is a mixed media type with micro-ply, plastic and card parts for the experienced model maker
Wheels, GW paint mask and NEM couplings are included.
Buffers are NOT included
