Prototype notes
LB&SC rly. built short wheelbase Batten wagons as they were called (SR named them Double Bolsters) in 1900. Just before the grouping they were uprated to 10 Tons. Some acquired a second plank and were used as runner/support wagons for the Sheldon Hand Crane as this model depicts.
