Under the watchful gaze of Skiddaw (3,053 ft) hauled by Ivatt class 2F 2-6-0 No. 46432, down the Lakes Express leaves Bassenthwaite Lake Station on her journey from Pentrith to Workington during the late 1950's. Closed in 1966, this line now forms part of the A66 Trunk Road.
